Communication

From Us:

We send out regular newsletters giving information, dates, etc.

 We invite you into school to discuss your child’s progress. We are happy to arrange further meetings if you have any queries or problems.

 We will provide a report on your child’s progress each year.

 Our school website helps to provide you with additional information and develops stronger links between home and school.

 We have a texting service which enables us to send text messages via our school office computer.

 From You:

Please keep us up to date with addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses and emergency contacts.

 Please try to attend Parent Consultation evenings.                         

 Always send a note, or ring up, to explain a child’s absence.

 We hope you will tell us if there are any problems that could affect your child’s progress or behaviour in school.  Any personal matters will be treated in the strictest confidence.

 Additionally, should you wish to discuss any issues with the Headteacher or Class Teacher, appointments may be made through the school office. We will endeavour to meet with you as quickly as possible.

General Communication

 To save ‘queuing’, messages may be written and left at the school office. A response will be sent as quickly as possible.

Home/School Link

 We strive to work in partnership with parents at all times. The Home/School Agreement plays a key role in home/school communication and is the basis of our working relationship.
