Travel to & from school

Provision of Transport:

Pupils admitted to the school designated for the area in which they live will have special transport provided, or expenses paid on public transport, if their home is more than the following distance from the school, measured by the nearest available walking route.

1.   For children in Years R, 1, 2, 3       Two miles;

2.   For children in Years 4, 5, 6             Three miles.

Pupils admitted to Breamore on the grounds of their affiliation to the Church of England will qualify for assistance with travelling expenses on public transport only, provided that:

1.   Evidence of baptism into the appropriate faith is produced;

2.   Distance between home and school exceeds the minimum distance stated above, and does not exceed six miles.

Transport by Private Car:

There is a one way circulatory system through the car park.  Additional parking is available at the Bat and Ball Public House which is opposite the school.

Cycling to School:

If you would like your child to cycle to school, please ask for the appropriate form.  Every effort is made to ensure that cycles are not tampered with whilst on the school premises, however no responsibility can be accepted by the School for any loss or damage.

Children in Year 6 have the opportunity to train under the Cycling Proficiency Scheme and it is advisable for all cyclists to wear cycle helmets.
